Scorebig - iOS App

ScoreBig is dedicated to creating cherished memories by enhancing accessibility to sports, concerts, theater, and event tickets. Our mission involved defining their iOS mobile app and reimagining their desktop experience.

As the Lead Designer, I collaborated closely with UX designers and project managers to craft ScoreBig's inaugural iOS app in 2016. Our approach was rooted in user-centric principles, and we integrated interactive maps to enrich the ScoreBig product through data-driven design.

Key objectives included ensuring that users could easily locate both Fixed Price tickets, where specific seat numbers are known, and Name Your Price tickets, which offer seat areas with varying seat numbers

To address the challenge of displaying both types of tickets simultaneously on the map, we implemented a solution. Fixed-price tickets were represented on the map as gray dots, while areas offering tickets with variable prices were highlighted using distinct colors.

Users were provided with a price slider, allowing them to adjust the ticket price to their preference. Additionally, they could visualize their chances of successfully acquiring a ticket in different areas using a color-coded system:

  • Green: Indicated a high likelihood of successfully securing a ticket in that area.

  • Light: Suggested a possibility, albeit with a lower chance compared to green.

  • Yellow: Signified a low chance of success.

  • Red: Clearly conveyed that obtaining a ticket in that area at the chosen price was unlikely.

This approach empowered users to make informed decisions by considering both the price they were willing to pay and the corresponding success probabilities in different seating areas.
